Long Week

We're mostly settled and I've done countless loads of laundry. We are now in the rearrange stuff until it is functional and efficient. The kitchen and fridge are the next tasks to work through.

The major challenge this week has been the kids. Ryan continues to have be needy during this time of adjustment. Tyler had a virus with a temp for 101 - 103 for 4 very long days. He's usually an easy kid, so to be that high maintenance for that long was a reminder of how good I really have it. Both of the kids were waking up about twice a night (of course at separate times). We were pretty tired. The major blessing was the boys slept in until 8:30 this morning. I don't remember the last time they let us sleep past 7:15 - and the fact that it was a Saturday was a bonus. God knew we needed some rest.

We were blessed this week when a friend gave us 4 large boxes of kids clothing to borrow. There are several more boxes to come when we get to those sizes. Unfortunately Ryan is catching up to their son's size so he won't be able to reap the benefits too much longer. However, I have enough clothing for Tyler now to go weeks without doing laundry! It totally filled in the gaps of seasons and sizes between my two boys.

We're hoping the weather clears up so we can head out to Andy's parents' cottage for some fishing later today. We decided we needed a break from moving/organizing/cleaning/life in general. Now we just need the weather to cooperate!
