Better Day

Today is a much better day and I'm in a better mood to deal with the parts that aren't better. The letter C was much better than B and we are officially on letter break until Monday. Thank you Lord for a holiday weekend.

We have our power back on and lots of firewood for the winter thanks to all the down trees. Part of the mess is from the amazing storm that came through yesterday and part from the loggers who came to get the walnut trees we sold. The took the trunks and left us the rest. It's great to have all that wood to heat the house, but it's going to take a lot of work to go from brush to firewood.

It's going to be a long and busy weekend with lots of interesting stories I'm sure. My hubby's crazy family has a reunion, parade & fireworks to take in, and time with friends we haven't seen in WAY too long. So - happy 4th of July to all and God bless America. We'll catch up next week.
