Reasons To Celebrate

On this day 32 years ago, my hubby made his appearance into this world. There is a reason to celebrate. If you don't know Andy, here's a little bit about him.

He has an odd sense of humor and laughs at his own jokes harder than anyone else. Very entertaining.

He's a salesman, but our 4-year-old does a spectacular job negotiating him into what he wants.

He's fiercely protective of his family, his friend, his integrity, along with any woman or child he meets. He really is a care taker.

He still has no idea where anything is in the kitchen. He opens several drawers to find the silverware.

When I met him he took his Grandma who lived in a nursing home out to eat once a week.

He's always concerned about how today's decisions impact tomorrow - at work, home, church, community, etc

His passion can come across as a dictate.

He helps tuck the boys in and reads them stories most nights.

He married me to do the grocery shopping for him.

He can predict when a woman is pregnant before it is announced with scary accuracy.

He is committed to his family and faith and is growing so much in both areas. He is far from perfect, but he's learning about admitting when he is wrong. That's big for men, especially in his family.

He's not afraid to make tough decisions. It may take him a while to do it, but he will make them.

I love him and trust him completely. He brings out the best in me and confronts the worst in me.

He listens to what I have to say and respects my ideas (even if he doesn't take them).

Happy birthday babe. Love ya.
